Serving New York, New Jersey & Connecticut
Some of our services include:
Cleaning removes germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces or objects. Cleaning works by using soap (or detergent) and water to physically remove germs from surfaces. This process does not necessarily kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.
Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces or objects. Disinfecting works by using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces or objects. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.
Sanitizing lowers the number of germs on surfaces or objects to a safe level, as judged by public health standards or requirements. This process works by either cleaning or disinfecting surfaces or objects to lower the risk of spreading infection.
When it comes to sanitizing and disinfecting commercial and residential spaces, traditional spray and wipe methods are first to come to mind. Although effective in killing viruses, they often simply spread the germs around and don’t sit long enough to be effective. Other methods such as wet misting are better, but tend to avoid small, hard to reach areas. When dealing with more sensitive areas, such as hospitals, elder care facilities, schools, and gyms, there is a need for more specialized sanitizing: electrostatic spraying.
We also offer dry steam sanitizing for those who are chemically sensitive. Our commercial grade equipment produces super heated, low moisture steam at a temperature of 347 degrees F. Using a combination of heat and pressure, the steam penetrates deep into surface pores, eliminating mold, bacteria, viruses and germs.
Ozone is a remarkably effective, broad based, antiviral and antibacterial agent when applied at high levels. Because it is a reactive gas, ozone reaches everywhere air currents travel, and can effectively treat all surfaces, including the nooks and crannies that standard cleaning practices miss.
People generally evaluate cleanliness visually... do you see dust or dirt? Disinfection cannot be determined the same way; because illness causing bacteria and viruses are too small too be seen with the naked eye. A specialized instrument must be used to count the number of microorganisms present on a surface. Stat Sanitizing conducts this test before and after disinfecting to confirm the effectiveness of our products and disinfecting method.
The world is filled with bacteria, fungi, and mold that settle on surfaces all over the world without discrimination. Find out how Stat Sanitizing can help you defeat the microbial threats through our antimicrobial surface protectants.
Each re-opening business must develop a written Safety Plan outlining how its workplace will sanitize and disinfect to prevent the spread of COVID-19. A business may fill out this template to fulfill the requirement, or may develop its own Safety Plan. This plan does not need to be submitted to a state agency for approval but must be retained on the premises of the business and must made available to the New York State Department of Health (DOH) or local health or safety authorities in the event of an inspection.
Business owners should refer to the State’s industry-specific guidance for more information on how to safely operate. For a list of regions and sectors that are authorized to re-open, as well as detailed guidance for each sector, please visit: forward.ny.gov
