About Stat Sanitizing
Stat Sanitizing is a specialized odor elimination, mold, and indoor air quality company serving homeowners, businesses, property managers, and other commercial properties throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas of New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
We built Stat Sanitizing around a straightforward philosophy: before you can solve a problem, you need to understand what is causing it.
That may sound simple, but it makes a significant difference in the way we work. We do not approach every odor with the same machine, every mold concern with the same treatment, or every indoor air quality problem with the same recommendation.
Real-World Experience Matters
Stat Sanitizing combines professional training with extensive hands-on experience solving difficult odor and indoor environmental problems.
Our team includes Certified Odor Control Technicians, and Stat Sanitizing, LLC is both a New York State Licensed Mold Assessment Company and a New York State Licensed Mold Remediation Contractor. We maintain professional training and affiliations in odor control, mold and microbial assessment, environmental disinfection, indoor air quality, and related areas of environmental remediation.
But certifications are only part of the equation.
Experience teaches you that what works beautifully in one situation may be completely inappropriate in another. It teaches you when additional treatment may help and, equally important, when the underlying source needs to be removed or corrected first.
That’s why we maintain a broad toolbox rather than building our business around one treatment technology. Depending on the conditions, our work may involve source removal, specialized cleaning, professional enzyme treatments, chlorine dioxide, hypochlorous acid, filtration, air purification, dehumidification, or a combination of approaches.
The technology is important. Knowing when and how to use it is even more important.
Meet the Team
Paul Wimbert

Paul’s approach to Stat Sanitizing has always centered on problem-solving. Rather than simply treating what a customer can smell or see, he believes in understanding why the condition exists and what needs to happen to correct it.
His experience with professional odor elimination, mold, indoor air quality, and environmental remediation has shaped the way Stat Sanitizing operates today. It has also driven his continued interest in emerging technologies, cleaning chemistry, odor control processes, and better ways of addressing difficult indoor environmental conditions.
Paul believes customers deserve straightforward answers, realistic expectations, and an explanation of why a particular treatment is being recommended. If a service is unlikely to solve the problem, he would rather explain that than sell a treatment simply because it can be performed.
Chris Wimbert

Chris brings a strong background in customer service and sales together with professional training as a Certified Odor Control Technician.
His role reflects an important part of the Stat Sanitizing philosophy: technical knowledge means little if it cannot be communicated clearly to the customer. Whether discussing a persistent odor, explaining a proposed treatment, or helping someone understand what to expect from the process, Chris focuses on making sure customers feel informed rather than overwhelmed.
Together, Paul and Chris have helped build Stat Sanitizing around personal service, continued education, and the belief that earning a customer’s trust is just as important as earning their business.
We Don’t Mask Problems. We Look for Their Source.
One of the biggest differences between professional odor elimination and basic deodorizing is understanding that odor is often a symptom.
A musty basement may have a humidity or moisture problem. Pet urine may have penetrated beneath flooring. Years of cigarette smoke can leave residues throughout a property. Mold-related odors may persist until the moisture condition and affected materials are properly addressed.
Simply introducing another fragrance into the environment doesn’t solve those problems.
Our approach begins with understanding the source and determining what can realistically be accomplished. Sometimes treatment is the answer. Sometimes cleaning or material removal needs to happen first. Sometimes another contractor needs to correct an underlying condition before our work makes sense.
We believe customers deserve to know the difference.
Education Without Fear
There is an enormous amount of information available online about mold, mycotoxins, indoor air quality, and environmental exposure. Unfortunately, not all of it is accurate, and some of it can leave homeowners frightened and unsure of what to do next.
We don’t believe fear should be used to sell remediation.
We believe in explaining what we observe, what can reasonably be determined, what may require additional investigation, and what steps make sense based on the conditions present.
New York State law requires independence between mold assessment and mold remediation. Under Article 32 of the New York State Labor Law, the same licensee cannot perform both mold assessment and mold remediation on the same property. Stat Sanitizing strictly follows this requirement.
When we perform a mold assessment, we do not perform the remediation on that project. Likewise, when Stat Sanitizing performs mold remediation, the assessment and remediation plan must be provided by an independent New York State licensed mold assessor. This separation protects the customer, prevents conflicts of interest, and helps ensure that assessment findings and recommendations are independent of the remediation work.
Our goal is to give customers clear, practical information so they can make an informed decision about what to do next, even when that decision doesn’t result in hiring us.
Our Commitment
Whether we’re addressing a persistent odor, mold concern, vehicle odor, or indoor air quality problem, our approach remains the same: understand the source, choose the appropriate tools, set realistic expectations, and communicate clearly.
At Stat Sanitizing, the goal isn’t to sell you a treatment. The goal is to solve the problem.
